Charles began Dynamic Alliance seven years ago with a vision of being and becoming the forerunner in the industry of outsourced technology services. With an A.S. in Computer Science, a multitude of industry certifications and 19 years in the sphere of business, Charles’ experience gives him the insight and knowledge to advise businesses on technology needs and system requirements.
Prior to his entering the computer industry, Charles spent 14 years in the manufacturing industry as a product engineer and in the quality control department. Charles believes that having spent several years in the engineering industry, where computers were being developed as tools and not in the information technology field, has given him a unique insight into the needs small business computer technology. He continues to draw from his engineering experience in supporting his clients today.
Charles switched careers in the early 90’s and joined the IT industry, working for a local computer company that provided hardware and labor for a major pharmaceutical company. He quickly gained experience with large networks, making many components work together, and learned many aspects of corporate IT, including projects and user support. It was in this role that he was introduced to products that have evolved and grown into today’s most widely used, i.e. Microsoft server products.
Charles further developed his technology support skills while working for a major defense contractor in a department which provided support for a 1,000-seat design force. Within this role, he continued to hone his skills, supporting users, developing training curriculum and instructing users on new tasks. Working for yet another large company meant interfacing with many different areas, from other IT departments/vendors, to end users and management, etc.
By 2002, the IT industry, thanks to Y2K and the dot-com bust, was in termoil. Charles looked to bring some much-needed stability to the field when he became a founding member of Dynamic Alliance, LLC. He currently serves as Managing Member. Charles and the DA staff strive to provide the best service to their small to medium business clients by drawing on their unique experiences.
Charles’ favorite part of the job: working with people and seeing the light bulb go off when they realize they can do what they need to with their computer systems.
